General Terms and Conditions (GTC)

for renting the Pfalzliebe Suites

1. Scope of Application These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) govern the contractual relationship between Nina Gass (“Landlord”) and the guests (“Tenant”) regarding the rental of the Pfalzzeit Apartments holiday apartment in Landau. By completing the booking, the Tenant accepts these GTC.

2. Conclusion of Contract (1) A booking can be made via booking platforms (e.g., Booking.com, Airbnb) or directly with the landlord. (2) A binding rental contract is concluded upon confirmation of the booking by the landlord.

3. Payment Terms (1) Payments are to be made via the payment methods offered, depending on the booking channel (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, Apple Pay). (2) Unless otherwise agreed, the full rental price is due no later than upon booking. (3) The lessor reserves the right to require a security deposit. The amount and payment method will be communicated in each individual case before the conclusion of the contract.

4. Cancellation and No-Show (1) Cancellation is free of charge up to 14 days before arrival. (2) For cancellations less than 14 days before arrival or in case of no-show, the full rental price (100%) is due. (3) There is no entitlement to a refund if the tenant ends the stay prematurely.

5. Arrival and Departure (1) Check-in is possible from 4:00 PM, check-out must take place by 11:00 AM at the latest. (2) Early check-in or late check-out is possible upon prior arrangement and subject to availability for a fee of €25.

6. House Rules (1) The holiday apartment is a non-smoking apartment. Smoking is prohibited throughout the entire building. (2) Pets are only allowed by prior arrangement. (3) Parties or events are not permitted. (4) The tenant agrees to treat the apartment and its contents with care. Any damage must be reported to the landlord immediately and compensated by the tenant.

7. Wi-Fi Usage (1) The landlord provides the tenant with free Wi-Fi access for the duration of their stay. (2) Use is at the tenant's own risk. The landlord assumes no liability for availability, speed, or disruptions. (3) The tenant agrees not to misuse the Wi-Fi, in particular not for illegal file sharing, criminal content, or other legal infringements.

8. Additional Services: An interim cleaning including towel and bed linen change can be booked for €50. This service is only available upon prior arrangement and subject to availability.

9. Liability (1) The landlord is not liable for loss of or damage to the tenant's belongings brought onto the premises, unless the damage was caused intentionally or by gross negligence. (2) The landlord is not liable for force majeure (e.g., power outages, natural disasters).

10. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction German law applies. The place of jurisdiction is, to the extent legally permissible, the landlord's place of business.
